Maria Rosa Salcido, 79, of Canutillo, Texas, passed away September 25, 2018. She was born in Canutillo, Texas on December 20, 1938. Maria Rosa Salcido graduated from Lone Star High School. She was married to Raymundo Apodaca. Maria Rosa Salcido worked in manufacturing for Old El Paso and Farah. She was survived by her children Andy and Joe Najar, grandchildren Joe Najar, Eric Najar, Athena Najar, siblings Luis Salcido III, Nielle Pastrano, Albert Salcido, Charlotte Sanchez, Alice Salcido Linares, Joe Salcido, and Linda Doan Vasquez. Visitation will be Monday, October 1, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Rosary will be at 6 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home - West, 5054 Doniphan Dr., El Paso, Texas 79932. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 11:15 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 7065 2nd St., Canutillo, Texas, 79835. Interment to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 1 p.m.
