Maria H. Ponce, 96, passed surrounded by family on August 16, 2013. Maria was born January 11, 1917 in Durango, Mexico. Preceded in death by her Husband Manuel Ponce and son Mario C. Ponce. She is survived by her children, Beatriz Huml, (Dennis), Manuel Ponce (Sherry), Sergio Ponce (Bethany), Rachel Cervantes (Mario A.), eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 from 5-9 pm at Martin Funeral Home, 3839 Montana, El Paso, Texas. On Wednesday, August 21, mass will be at 10 am at Saint Joseph Catholic Church 1315 Travis following graveside at Mount Carmel.
