Maria De La Luz Chavez

Maria De La Luz Chavez, 84, was born December 29, 1937 in Valparaiso, Zacatecas, Mexico. Our loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother was called to paradise on October 14, 2022. She is survived by her husband Roberto Chavez Sr., her daughters; Elsa Borrego, Juanita Ortega, Minerva Alvarez, Veronica Chavez and her sons; Sergio Chavez, Roberto Chavez Jr., nephew Martin Vasquez, and numerous family and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, October 24, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with the Rosary at 7:00 pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 N. Carolina Dr. El Paso, TX 79915. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Valley, 8600 Winchester Rd. followed by the burial at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S. Zaragoza Rd.
