Maria L. Carroll

Maria L. (Camacho) Carroll, 94, was called to the Lord’s Home on Friday, June 11, 2021. Preceded in death by her loving husband David Carroll, her daughter Mary Loya and sons Jesus “Chuy” Camacho, Manny Camacho, Rafael Martinez and stepson Lendon Carroll.

She is survived by Daughters: Yolanda Lechuga (Mon), Olga Camacho, Marta C. Luna (Bobby), and Maria Delia Megliorino (Ronnie+); Sons, Reyes Camacho (Nina) and Carlos Camacho (Grace); Stepsons, John Carroll and Robert Carroll.

Known as “Ama” or “Licha” to family she was a Loving, Devoted Catholic, Wife, Mother, Grandmother to 27 Grandchildren, 41 Great-Grandchildren and 20 Great-Great Grandchildren, Sister, Aunt and Friend.

Licha was a long-time resident of El Paso, TX. She was a Nurse’s Aide for 25 years. She enjoyed Casino visits, Tecate, Plants and Mariachis. She was Greatly Loved and Cherished and will be Very Much Missed and Never Forgotten.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm with Rosary Service at 5:00pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home 1060 N. Carolina. Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at San Antonio De Padua Church at 10:00am, 503 Hunter Dr. Final Blessing and Internment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, 401 S. Zaragoza Blvd at 11:30am.
