Maria Francisca Astorga, 87, beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2014. Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Cruz Astorga and son, Jesus A. Astorga. She is survived by her sons, Ricardo A. Olvera, Victor M. Olvera and Arturo C. Astorga; daughters, Blanca A. Irrobali, Julieta M. Roddy, Teresa C. Ortega and Ana L. Florez, 24 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 11th from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 Carolina, with Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, December 12th at 11:30 AM at Our Lady of the Light Catholic Church, 4700 Delta Drive. Pallbearers will be Donny Olvera, James Irrobali, Alfonso Arambula, Daniel Ortega, Jesse Roddy, Cruz Alcala, Matthew Roddy and Adrian Olvera. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 Carolina.
