Maria is survived by her daughter Hilda Crawford; her daughter Juana Briseno; her son Alfredo Hurtado; her daughter Maria Mancillas; her son Johnny Amaro; and her daughter Luz Elena Esparza.
Maria was preceded in death by her husband Jesus Amaro.
Maria also leaves 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren to cherish her memory.
A visitation for Maria will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Drive, El Paso, TX 79915. A rosary will occur Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 6:00 PM, 1060 North Carolina Drive, El Paso, TX 79915. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 9205 N Loop Dr., El Paso, Texas 79907.
