She left this earth to join Robert F. Goesle (Bob), her husband of 29 years. They are together now in God’s loving care. She is survived by her three children, Eduardo Vera, Ricardo Vera, and Catherine Talamantes; her son-in-law Stephan Talamantes, daughters-in-law Debra Nay and Roxanne Sullivan-Vera; her grandchildren: Johnny Caro, Gabriel Talamantes, Amanda Talamantes, Jason Washburn, Ashley Shipe, and Jessica Shipe; Great grandchildren: Bailie (Ash) Washburn, Jordyn Moore, Jade Moore, Madyson Shipe, and the newest member of the family, great grandson, Lucian Garcia; Debra has 6 children and 11 grandchildren who Margie thought of as grandchildren and great grandchildren. Margie is also survived by her brother Pedro Quiroz; cousin Carmen Calderon; nieces April George, Lorraine George, Consuelo Perez Gonzales, and nephew, Alex Quiroz.
She is predeceased by her husband Robert Franklin Goesle; her mother (whom we all called Mom), Petra Calderon Quiroz; aunt Elena Calderon; sister Consuelo Quiroz Perez; brother Alejandro Quiroz II; sister-in-law Irma Quiroz; nephew Rudy Marquez.
Margie and Bob were long standing members of the VFW and very involved in community events with that organization. Margie enjoyed crafts. She especially enjoyed crocheting baby blankets, she made quite a few. In the neighborhood she was known for her delicious Mexican rice.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 10:00 pm with a vigil at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 with a vigil 7:00 PM, at Funeraria Del Angel Central 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, Texas 79903.
Scripture service will be at 12:00 PM on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at Funeraria Del Angel Central 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, Texas 79903 with a burial to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave., El Paso, Texas 79906.
