Manuel Cortez, 85, born October 26, 1938 in Chihuahua Mexico, passed away on December 10, 2023. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He devoted his life in serving Jehovah faithfully until the end. He was preceded in death by his father, Nicolas Cortez Esparza and mother, Luz Maria Villalobos Delgado and his son, Manuel Cortez Jr. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Bertha Alicia Cortez, children, Heber Cortez, Fabian Cortez, Laura Rendon and Karla Morales and his grandchildren, Jonathan Cortez, Jacob Cortez, Samantha Cortez, Jacqueline Cortez, Valerie Rendon, Victoria Rendon, Louie Morales Jr, Marlaina Morales, Kayla Morales and two great grandchildren, Josiah Cortez and Jeremiah Cortez.
Funeral service for Manuel will be held Friday, December 15, 2023 at 7:00 PM at Salon Del Reino De Los Testigos De Jehova, 8760 Neptune Street, El Paso, Texas 79904.
Manuel Cortez, de 85 años, nacido el 26 de Octubre de 1938 en Chihuahua, México, falleció el 10 de Diciembre de 2023. Fue un esposo, padre y abuelo amoroso. Dedicó su vida a servir fielmente a Jehová hasta el final. Le precedieron en la muerte su padre, Nicolás Cortez Esparza y su madre, Luz María Villalobos Delgado y su hijo, Manuel Cortez Jr. Le sobreviven su esposa de 60 años, Bertha Alicia Cortez, sus hijos, Heber Cortez, Fabián Cortez, Laura Rendón y Karla Morales y sus nietos, Jonathan Cortez, Jacob Cortez, Samantha Cortez, Jacqueline Cortez, Valerie Rendón, Victoria Rendón, Louie Morales Jr., Marlaina Morales, Kayla Morales y dos bisnietos, Josiah Cortez y Jeremiah Cortez.
