Magdalena D. Velasquez

After a long, difficult and courageous battle with Covid-19, our mother Magdalena was mercifully called to Heaven by our Lord Jesus Christ on November 12, 2020. We were blessed to have our mom for 96 years. She was a Strong, Giving, Devout Catholic woman who loved all her family. Magdalena raise six children with husband Alejandro Velasquez and tended to both her father Luis Dominguez and father-in-Law Manuel Velasquez until their passing.

Preceding her and waiting lovingly for Magdalena are her husband Alejandro, Grandchild Anthony, parents, brothers Hector, Horacio, Julio and Sergio Dominguez and Beloved Sister Luz.

Left to cherish her memory are her children and their spouses: Luis Manuel (Edna), Graciela (Jesus R), Norma, Irma (Richard), David (Gloria), Gilbert (Rosa).

Her legacy consists of 15 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren whom she adored and gave meaning to her life.

Her surviving siblings are sister Esperanza Beltran and brother Rene Gilberto Dominguez whom she raised and loved like a son. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, Godchildren and her dog Cookie.
