Maggie, beloved sister, aunt, godmother, and friend was a native El Pasoan. During her career, Maggie commuted daily to White Sands Missile Range where she worked for nearly 40 years. She was a very compassionate person with a huge heart always willing to help anyone as needed including her family without question and never expecting anything in return. She also gave back to the community volunteering at Ronald McDonald House where she positively impacted the lives of many families providing assistance and support even outside of the house. Years later, some of these families would be there during her time of need. Maggie was also privileged to volunteer at St. Patrick’s Cathedral helping wherever possible. St. Patrick’s Cathedral was very sacred to Maggie as the church had been part of life since childhood so being part of St. Patrick’s was truly an honor for her. Maggie was a selfless person who will be greatly missed, but she now resides with our Heavenly Father.
Maggie is survived by her brother Reyes V Torres (Alicia), her sister Rachel Cisneros and her sister in law Irene Torres. Her nephews; Arturo Cisneros Jr. (Valentina), Ivan Glade Pierce (Veronica), Isaac Edward Pierce (Yvette) and Vincent Paul Pierce. Her nieces; Andrea Michele Torres (Lawrence) and Cristina Elisa Torres (Amy).
Maggie was preceded in death by her mother Rosario N. Torres and her father Reyes V Torres Sr; her brother Hector Torres and her sister Rebecca Pierce.
