Magdalena Lopez

Magdalena Lopez, 100 years, passed onto the hands of our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. She passed in the comfort of her home and surrounded by her devoted son and loving family. She was born on July 28, 1923 in Morley, Colorado.

She is survived by her son, Jose Manuel Castro, daughter-in-law Nattie Castro, sister Manuela Delgado, preceded in death, by her son Jesus Castro and daughter-in-law Doreen Castro, grandchildren Crystal Acosta, Justin Castro, Christian Castro, Adrianna Castro and great grandchild, Nathaniel Jesus Castro.

Magdalena was a loving mother and devoted grandmother, who enjoyed gardening, keeping busy in her home, and rooting for her Dallas Cowboys.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 12 from 5 to 9 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Restlawn, 8817 Dyer Street, to include rosary at 7 pm. The funeral mass will take place on Wednesday, December 13 at noon at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2709 Alabama Street, burial at Evergreen East Cemetery, 12400 Montana Avenue.

Una misa funebre se llevará a cabo el miércoles, diciembre 13, 2023 a las 12:00 p. m. en Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, 2709 Alabama St., El Paso, TX 79930. Un sepelio se llevará a cabo el miércoles, diciembre 13, 2023 en el cementerio Evergreen East.
