Luz Diaz

Luz is survived by her spouse, Ismael Gonzalez; her daughters Gloria, Veronica and Samantha; 11 grandchildren Dylan, Logan, Jack, Adyn, Liam, Jesus III, Isabella, Alessandra, Ezra, Baby Penelope and soon to arrive Baby Maximiliano; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

She had a smile that lit up the room; her beautiful personality and kindness is remembered by many who came to know Lucy. She was a kind wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Her biggest priority in life was her family and especially her grandchildren. She was selfless and always found a way to provide for her family and help them through so many milestones. She would proudly boast about her eleven grandkids to anyone she met, they were her pride and joy.

A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.” Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Honour her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

A visitation for Luz will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home East, 1460 George Dieter Drive, El Paso, TX 79936. A vigil service will occur Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 6:00 PM, 1460 George Dieter Dr, El Paso, Texas 79936. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 8:30 AM at Martin Funeral Home East, with a procession to the funeral mass. The funeral mass will occur Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 2709 Alabama, El Paso, Texas 79930.
