Luisa M. Gamez, born Aug 24, 1927, passed away on August 10, 2022. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Miguel Gamez, her parents Tomas and Felipa Martinez, sister Narcissa M. Becerra, brother Juan Martinez, daughters Alicia Manuela O’Rafferty and Lydia Salazar. She is survived by her sister Elisa M. Chiffer, sons Miguel Gamez, and Ricardo Gamez, daughters Graciela O’Melia, and Margarita Gamez, 13 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. She loved western movies! She loved to laugh especially when it was her children, grandchildren, or great grandchildren who would make her laugh. She loved celebrating the holidays and birthday parties with her family and loved ones. She loved attending mass every Sunday. She loved her family, friends and God and has left a beautiful legacy for us to remember, honor, celebrate, and carry on.
Visitation is from 4 PM to 9 PM with a Vigil at 7 PM, Friday, August 19th, 2022 at Funeraria Del Angel Restlawn, 8817 Dyer St. Funeral Mass will be at 10 AM, Saturday, August 20th, 2022 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Graveside Service will be at 11 AM, Saturday August 20th, 2022 at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
