With deepest sorrow, we announce that Luis Manuel Venegas passed away suddenly on December 1, 2021. Louie is survived by his daughter Jazlyn Hernandez; his father Luis Venegas and his mother Rosenda Guadalupe Venegas; his brother Gilbert Tapia III, his brother Sergio Jose Venegas and his sister Crystal Guadalupe Venegas; his fiancé Jazmine Hernandez.
Those who knew Louie, lost a shining light in their lives.
Loved by many, Louie had the gift of bringing people together. Louie was never too busy to lend an ear or a helping hand. Louie was an accomplished impersonator, and amazing percussionist. He graduated from Parkland High School where he got his first taste in music. From there Louie excelled and worked on his musical talents earning himself many awards in the musical arts. Those that heard Louie sing would compare his voice to a combination of Fergie and Jesus. For the past eight years Louie worked at Continuum as a well-known, and respected supervisor. Louie was honored as a National Hero of Barbados where he holds the title of sleep expert. When asked to describe himself, Louie would say he was a Part Time Race Car Driver and Amateur Tattoo Artist. Louie was always known as a jokester.

A visitation for Luis will be held Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Restlawn, 8817 Dyer, El Paso, TX 79904. A rosary will occur Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 6:00 PM, 8817 Dyer St, El Paso, Texas 79904. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 10000 Pheasant Rd, El Paso, Texas 79924.
