Luis Angel Perez

Luis (Spider) Angel Perez, 69, was called to heaven by our Lord Jesus Christ on June 8, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents Luis Perla Perez and Eufrocina (Nina) Perez. Mr. Perez is survived by his loving wife Lucy V. Perez and his daughters Pearl Aileen Perez, Laura Teresa Lucero and husband Chris; brothers Luis Jorge Perez and Jose Lorenzo Perez, sister Maria Georgina (Gina) Perez and several nephews and nieces. Mr. Perez was a founder and member of La Verdad Community where he served as a Youth Minister and choir member. He also worked for the El Paso Electric Co. for 25 yrs. and was a life- long Pittsburgh Steeler fan. The Perez family would like to give a special thanks to the Del Sol Hospital ICU Staff.Pallbearers will be Sergio Juan Lopez Jr., Alex Juan Lopez, Victor Daniel Lopez, Chris Lucero, Jose Lorenzo Perez, Luis Jorge Perez.Visitation will be held from 5-9pm Friday, June 12, 2015 at La Verdad Community Church with Prayer Service at 7pm. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at La Verdad Community Church. Interment to follow at Evergreen East Cemetery. Services are under the direction of HILLCREST FUNERAL HOME 1060 N. Carolina 598-3332.
