Louie was a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas. He died peacefully at home with his family by his side. He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan Jose and Antonia Casillas, his brother, Lucio Casillas and his sister, Carmen Scott. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Yolanda Casillas and his children, Fabiola Casillas, Angelica (Billy) Casillas-Wortham, Georgina (Glenn) Casillas-McMinn, Louie (Shirley) Casillas, Claudia (Marina Ardovino) Casillas, and Andre (Isadora) Casillas. Grandchildren: Antonia, Jessica, Angelica (Jaime,) Fallon, Silverio, Christopher, Meagan, Sean, Catalina, Annalina, Carmela and Giuseppe, great grandchildren: Justin, Aiden and Trent. Louie graduated from Cathedral High School, Class of 1957. He was a U. S. Army Veteran and a State Farm Insurance Agent for 50 years. Louie was an avid golfer, member of the Knights of Columbus, LULAC Council 132, and the Life Underwriters Association. The family wishes to thank the Global Hospice personnel and the V.A. Hospital for their kindness and support. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Rosary and visitation to be held at: Funeraria Del Angel Martin Central on Sunday, January 3, 2016, 2:00pm – 6:00pm. Rosary will be at 4:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church at 11:00am on Monday, January 4, 2016, with interment at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Martin Funeral Home Central
