Lorena D. Rodriguez

Lorena Diaz Rodriguez, 76, of El Paso passed away peacefully in her sleep December 26th, 2018. She was born in Silver City, New Mexico, on April 23rd, 1942. She was preceded in death by Benito Rodriguez her beloved husband. Lorena worked at Orthopedic Services of El Paso for 19 years, and still found time to be a Cub Scout Den Mother and P.T.A. Lifetime Member. With a heart as big as Texas she welcomed and nurtured countless numbers of Gods’ creatures large and small. She was survived by her children Alex and wife Pamela, Adrian and wife Kat and daughter Lorena and husband Tom Heck. Also survived by her beloved sister Carmen D. Gonzalez and brother-in-law David Gonzalez. Nephew Rene Gonzalez; Nieces Karina Gonzalez-Wigley, and Zach. Marisa Gonzalez-Davis, and David. Grand Nieces and Grand Nephews Arya, Harper and Knox. Also her half-brother and sister Mike Garcia Jr., and Lupe Silva, and many more nieces, nephews and cousins near and far. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday January 2, 2019 at Saint Joseph's Church located at 1315 Travis Street El Paso Tx. In lieu of flowers please donate to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or a local No-Kill animal shelter of your choice.
