Lifelong El Pasoan Lisa Annette Martinez died October 28, 2023, after a lengthy illness. She was 54. Lisa was born June 23, 1969, to Ernesto and Bertha Martinez. She grew up in Central El Paso with a love for cats, ballet, classic movies and football, especially the Dallas Cowboys. She graduated from Loretto Academy in 1987. She took several retail jobs through the years until she could no longer work.
Lisa was preceded in death by her loving father. She is survived by her mother and several relatives to include her cousins Grace Wilson (Don) and Pamela Perez (Daniel), and dear friend Mina Razo.
The family also would like to thank the many people who helped Lisa in her final months. Special thanks to Linda Cozby for her loving care to the end.
A memorial service was held Saturday, November 11, at Funeraria del Angel Restlawn, 8817 Dyer St. Inurnment will take place at 3:00pm Thursday, November 30, at Restlawn Memorial Park, 4848 Alps Drive.
