Lilia Mena, beloved wife and mother died February 3, 2016 in El Paso, Texas at the age of 91. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Willie Mena and grandson Tony Mena. She was born in El Paso, Texas on November 7, 1924 to Maria de Jesus and Manuel Escarzaga. She attended St. Joseph's Academy, now Loretto Academy, and retired from Mountain Bell after 25 years of service. She lived her life dedicated to church and family and leaves many who will mourn her loss. She is survived by two daughters, Bea(Manny)Chavez, of Austin, Texas, Lily(Art Barraza)Chavez, of Austin, Texas and four sons, Willie(Pat)Mena, Hector(Mary Tellez)Mena, Albert(Toni)Mena, all of El Paso, Texas and Eddie Mena of Austin, Texas. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, Liza Brooker, Michael and Laura Chavez, Willie and Robert Mena, Matthew and Hector Mena, Christopher and Paul Mena, Cameron and Andrew and Kevin Mena, and eleven great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 8, 2016 from 5:00-9:00pm at F.D.A. Martin East, with vigil at 6:00pm. Funeral mass will be on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 9:30am at St. Raphael Catholic Church with interment to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to F.D.A.
