She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, ama, abuela and great grandmother. Our Abuela fought so hard till the very end. Lidia was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Jovita Rubio; husband, Ramon Valenzuela; brothers, Ruben and Antonio Rubio, and sister, Syria Rubio. Our Abuela Lidia and Abuelo Ramon raised and survived by her only Son, Manuel Sr; daughter, Carmen Valenzuela, four Grandsons, Manuel Jr, Christian, Johnny and Irvin; 13 grandkids, Bryan, Irene, Nathan, Emma, Ella, Suzette, Johnny Jr, Abigail, Jayden, Bryana, Haley, Raymond and Brandon; four granddaughters that she loved as her own, Claudia, Amanda, Sussy and Gaby; her granddaughter who was by her side always through her battle and beautiful life, Carmen; brothers Aurelio and Stanley Rubio; sisters, Pascuala, Irma, Nena and Martha Rubio. Muchas gracias Abuela por todo lo que hiciste por nosotros. Te vamos a extrañar Siempre. Ya estas descansando con Mi Abuelo juntos . We love You!
A visitation for Lidia will be held Tuesday, October 1, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM with a vigil at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, Texas 79903. Funeral mass will be Wednesday, October 2nd at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Cathedral with interment to follow in Memorial Pines Cemetery, Sunland Park, NM.
Doña Lidia was a such a great person who left an unforgettable impact that we'll carry until we meet again and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
