Leonel Olivas, 73, passed away Thursday, December 20th, 2018. He was a longtime resident of El Paso and a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by his loving wife Nelly Olivas; children, Leo Olivas, Jr., Michael Angelo Rey, Melissa, Lorena and Claudia Olivas and 13 grandchildren. Visitation for Leonel will be held on Thursday, December 27th, 2018 for 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina. Funeral mass will be Friday, December 28th, at 1:00 p.m. at Cristo Rey Catholic Church with interment to follow in Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina, (915)598-3332.
