Katherine Baily Fetner

El Paso, Texas - Katherine Bailey (56) entered her eternal salvation through her Savior Jesus Christ, on May 4, 2021. She passed away peacefully surrounded by many family and friends after a long hard battle with lung cancer. Dear Kathy was a strong fighter and worked to the very end striving to make sure her children would be fine.

Kathy was preceded in death by her loving Mother Bertha Baily. Kathy was surely blessed to be welcomed by other family members as she makes her final journey. She is survived by her adoring adult children Christopher Scott Fetner, Stephanie Fetner, and Sean Michael Keefe, Father William Baily, Aunt Irene Rowan, and countless family and friends.

Kathy was a proud EPHS Tiger and still remains close friends with her graduating class. She was a beautiful woman who loved being around people and held many positions in the local event industry. This involved working as a Manager at Management Sales and Marketing of El Paso, Texas and Manager at Marriott International of El Paso, Texas. It was always pleasing to her to see everyone having a wonderful time. Her greatest pleasure was bringing family and friends together to catch up or to share stories of their past. This always included asking about family members who had passed and she was always interested in family lineage. Kathy was surely the glue that kept many together.

Most recently, Kathy was the President and owner at Southwest Drug-Alcohol and DNA testing of El Paso, Texas. In her business dealings, people will remember her for her warm and caring personality and how she presented herself always looking her best with her trademark jewelry pieces. This is a thriving business venture that she leaves as a legacy to her children.
