Julieta passed away peacefully after a loved and fun filled life followed by a short struggle with leukemia. She was surrounded by her children and family. Her favorite day was her birthday, and she struggled the last few days to make it to her 85th birthday. After being serenaded by her own voice with the Las Mananitas, which was recorded earlier this year, she took her last breath and went to join the Lord. She was an avid singer, and whenever a mariachi group played she was quick to join them in song. She was preceded in death by her step daughter Isabel Truster, grandson Roddy, her son Richard, her husband Manuel (Guero) and daughter and son in law Carmen and Ron Rogers. She is survived by her loving children, Leticia (Leti) Andrade (Rodrigo), Victor Nevarez, (Rosie) and Armida Martinez, (Ed) and daughter in law Lisa Smith Nevarez and sister Rosa Silva (Jorge). Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, nieces and nephews. She will be laid to rest alongside of her husband and grandson. Visitation on Friday September the 23rd at Martin Funeral Home Central, 3839 Montana Ave. (915) 566-3955 from 5-9pm with a vigil service at 7pm.; Saturday September the 24th the funeral service with be held at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic church at 9am followed by interment at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
