Juanita A. Velasquez

Juanita “Jenny” Adauto Velasquez, 87, went to Heaven Sunday, March 25, 2012. She was a lifelong El Pasoan. She is preceded in death by her parents Clemente and Petra Adauto; brothers Alejandro Adauto, Clemente Jr. Adauto, Ricardo Adauto; and sisters Esther Garcia, Dora Ramirez and Elena Marquez. She is survived by sons Roger (Belinda) and Rudy Velasquez (Christy); daughters Ofelia Ramirez, Dolly Velasquez and Lucia Rappé (Michael); grandchildren Reneé de Santos (Mark), Lisa Ramirez, Jennifer Rappé, Charles Velasquez and Roger Velasquez; and great granddaughter Madison de Santos. She also is survived by sisters Luz Lea, Ofelia Adauto, Mary Adauto, and brother Angel Adauto, and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Charles Velasquez, Roger Velasquez, Mark de Santos, Ray Adauto, Stephen Clarke, and Bill Clarke.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 27 from 6:30 to 9:00 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Martin East. Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 28 at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church, 2301 Zanzibar. Burial will follow at Evergreen East Cemetery. At the request of the family, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association of El Paso in lieu of flowers.
