Juana Ayala, 78, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2012 in El Paso. Mrs. Ayala was a loving, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, Christian and humanitarian who enjoyed traveling and assisting the less fortunate. Born in Aguascalientes, Mexico, Mrs. Ayala met and married her husband Victor in Ciudad Juarez and some years later moved to El Paso and she and her husband established a restaurant business spanning thirty years. Mrs. Ayala was active in the church and devoted many hours to reaching out to the less fortunate, impacting the lives of many. She was also a foster grandmother for three years in the Canutillo school district. She is preceded in death by her husband Victor Ayala and her son Gregorio Ayala. Mrs. Ayala is survived by her sister Amparo Jimenez and her eight children and spouses, Rosa Lopez (Jesus), Alicia Palma (Jesus), Marivel McClelland (Jason), Angelita Morales (Carlos) and her sons, Juan Ayala (Diane), Victor Ayala Jr., Hector Ayala (Missy), George Ayala, 19 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Her children would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Mariposa Hospice who went above and beyond their call of duty, as well as her close friends and sisters in Christ from Jesus Chapel West. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM, with a Prayer Service at 7:00PM at Martin Funeral Home West. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 10:00AM at Jesus Chapel West, 111 W. Sunset. Pall bearers will be her four surviving sons, and four grandsons, Alfonso Peinado, Carlos Morales, Jr., Jesus Palma Jr., Jason McClelland Jr. and Gregorio Ayala Jr. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley in Santa Teresa, NM.
