Mr. Juan Hinojosa, Chaparral, New Mexico passed away November 20, 2019. A Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m., with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 25, at Funeraria Del Angel Restlawn, 8817 Dyer Street, El Paso, Texas. Funeral Mass will be10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 26, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 568 E. Lisa Drive, Chaparral, New Mexico. Committal Service will follow at Desert View Cemetery, 450 E. Lisa Drive.
The Pallbearers will be Andrew Aguilera, Alejandro Alvarez, Phillip Hinojosa, Andy Hinojosa, Brandon Cazares and Israel Cazares
Mr. Hinojosa was born July 11, 1948 in Alice, Texas, son of Filiberto Hinojosa and Elida Limon Hinojosa. He worked as a farm hand. His true love and passion however was driving 18 wheelers, especially belly dump trucks.
He was preceded in death by his parents Filiberto and Elida Hinojosa, siblings Epifanio Hinojosa, Sr., Domingo Hinojosa, Filiberto Hinojosa, Sr., Favian Hinojosa, Esmeralda Castaneda, Josephine Hewtty, and Rene Hinojosa. Mr. Hinojosa is survived by his wife Rita Martinez; sister Angela Aguirre of Stanton, brothers Reymundo Hinojosa of Midland and Charles Bumpass of Haughton, Lousiana; daughter Laura Cazares of Stanton, stepchildren Carla Alvarez of New Mexico, Sandra Eddington of Florida, Oscar Aguilera of El Paso and Manuel Terrazas of Juarez; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
