Joseph Thomas Elsworth was called home by our heavenly Father on February 13, 2023, at the age of 76. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, to Eric and Antoinette Elsworth on December 16, 1946. He married the love of his life, Angela Maria Masone, on June 14, 1969. He served with the United States Customs Service for more than 30 years, but his true passion was the teaching career he moved on from to better support his family. He loved his wife, family, and God more than anything, and dedicated his life to providing for, protecting, and helping his children follow their own passions.
He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife Angela; six children Ann-Marie Barbara Williamson (Wayne), Anthony Joseph Elsworth, Michele Elizabeth Haynes (Victor), Martin Richard Elsworth (Oriana), Christopher Paul Elsworth (Valerie), and Gina Marie Lewis (Leeland); eight grandchildren Dominic & Katherine, Anae, Sierra, & Roman, Amanda & Christine, and Leeland, and three great-grandchildren Micah, Arthur, and Evie.
