Josefina "Josie" Gonzalez

Josefina “Josie” Irene Lemus Gonzalez, 83, passed away April 26, 2014. Josie was born September 18, 1930 to Dolores and Julian Lemus. She graduated from El Paso High School Class of 1949. She was active in the Catholic Church and a member of the Blue Army. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pedro “Pete” Gonzalez and her sister, Dolores Rechy. Josie is survived by her brother, Julian Lemus (Esperanza) and daughter Aurora (Rorie) Valadez (Ignacio). Visitation will be Thursday, May 1, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home Central, 3839 Montana Ave. with the Vigil at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be Friday at 9:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment at Ft. bliss National Cemetery.
