Jose F. Morales (Pepe) age 89 passed away at his home May 11, 2018. He was born May 30, 1928. Pepe was preceded in death by his daughter Dolores. He is survived by his wife Beatrice of 66 years and his children; Armida (Jesse), Jaime (Yolanda), Evangelina (Andy), and Joe (Elsa). He had five grandchildren Danny, David, Joel, Aaron, and Alexia. He also had two great-grandchildren, Jayden and Jordyn. Pepe is also survived by his brother Aurelio Morales, and sister Alicia Hernandez.
Pepe loved sports and was around them all his life. He was one of the founders of El Paso All Sports and remained a member for over 50 years. Pepe is a member of the El Paso Softball Hall of Fame, Rusk Athletic Softball Hall of Fame, and Juarez Basketball Hall of Fame.
A special thank you to Hospice of El Paso for providing him with comfort the last two months of his life. Also, a thank you to Dr. Adrian Ugarte for being his primary doctor for many years.
Visitation will be May 14, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, rosary will be at 7:00 pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home 1060 N. Carolina.
