Mr. Jose Mata

JOSE MATA passed away on February 24, 2010 at the age of 84. Mr. Mata was the owner of Mata's Produce Co. for over 55 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Lilia Mata, children; Jose Mata (Paty), Luis Mata, Lilia Gonzalez (Francisco), and Carlos Jaime Mata (Elsa). He is also survived by his grandchildren; Corina Escalante (Albert), Lilia Mata, Melissa Mclellan (Robert), Edna Guerrero (Walter), Jaime Mata (Jackie), Adrian Gonzalez, Denise Mata, Jose Carlos Mata, Anna Gonzalez and great-grandchildren; Diego Mclellan, Rachael Mata, Julian Escalante. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 26, 2010 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Harding-Orr & McDaniel Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held on February 27, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2709 Alabama St. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, 8700 Dyer.
