Jose P. Marrufo

Jose Pantaleon Marrufo, 77, died peacefully in his home on January 15, 2016. He was born on January 27, 1938 in El Paso, TX to Amalio and Juanita (Jenny )Marrufo. He leaves his wife of 55 years Alicia Marrufo, 5 children, 14 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and 6 granddogs. It is with heavy hearts that we accept a new angel in heaven and remember his smile and sense of humor. It was his faith that will serve as inspiration for his family. “Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day… unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and still very dear.” Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 pm on Tuesday January 19, 2016 with praying of the rosary at 7:00 pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home 1060 N Carolina Drive. The Funeral Mass will be at 12:30 pm on Wednesday January 20, 2016 at St.Raphael Catholic Church 2301 Zanzibar Rd. Following the mass, will be the burial at Mount Carmel Cemetary 401 S Zaragoza Rd.
