Jose Javier Leyva “Jay” (45) was called into the presence of our Lord on November 24, 2016. He was a lifelong resident of El Paso, TX. He was also a lifelong member of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. During his lifetime, he took great pride working for the city of El Paso as well as for the city of Socorro. He is preceded in death by his Father: Armando A. Leyva Sr. He is survived by his loving Mother: Carmen L. Leyva, his Sister: Alma L. Fierro, his Brothers: Armando A. Leyva Jr; and Lorenzo Leyva. He was loved by many, and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November, 29, 2016 from 5 to 9 pm at Hillcrest with a Vigil at 7 pm. Mass will be held on Wednesday, November, 30, 2016 at 10:30 am at Mount Carmel Church with Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 N. Carolina, 915-598-3332.
