Our Godsent Jose Pepe Jones was called to be with our Lord and Savior on August 25, 2023. Jose was a devoted and beloved husband to Marie Yvett, dedicated and cherished father to his children Micah, Deborah, and Elijah and a devout believer in our Lord Jesus Christ and servant of the God.
Jose was known for many things, especially being the “popcorn man”, but being known as a true evangelist made him the proudest and defined his purpose and destiny. Jose began his walk with the Lord at the age of eighteen after entering in the United States Army and continued to serve as a civilian as an electronic technician with White Sands Missile Range for forty-five years.
Though his road was rocky at times, Jose knew that “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man and God is faithful who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide the way out so that you are able to endure it.” (I Corinthians 10:13)
Jose is the champion.
Jose’s faithfulness paid off, whether it was through children’s ministry, his song, or just his heartfelt words for Jose lead many to become believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. There is no greater gift than this…Thank you, Jose Pepe Jones.
Jose is survived by his wife of 31 years, Marie Yvett Jones, his daughters Micah Reyes (Ruben), Deborah Valles (Gil), and son Elijah Jones, mother Lourdes Jones, siblings Octavius Jones (Kathy), Enrique Jones, Ricardo Antonio Jones (Ann), Yolanda LeGrande, and Marcella Jones-Puthoff (Alexa), as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and an abundance of brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ and friends.
