Jose F. Robles, 76, passed away peacefully after a 3-year battle with cancer on March 3, 2022, surrounded by his family. He leaves behind his wife of 49 years, Angelina Robles, sons Joe Jr and wife Lisa, James and wife Fely, Christopher and wife Yvonne, grandson James John, and goddaughter Elsa Munoz. His surviving siblings include Maria Luisa King, Maria Margarita Robles, Carlos Enrique Gonzalez, and Martha Teresita Pena.
As a lifelong resident of El Paso, he was a 1966 graduate of Bowie HS who also served his country in the Vietnam war. He was a devoted catholic at Blessed Sacrament Church where he also served on the Rosary Altar Society.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, with a rosary service at 7 p.m.at Funeraria Del Angel Restlawn, 8817 Dyer St.
Funeral mass will be Thursday, March 17, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 9025 Diana Dr; followed by burial services at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery at 11 a.m.
A reception will be held immediately after services at the Blessed Sacrament Parish gym.
