Joe Bryan peacefully passed away Wednesday, October 21st. Joe was born in Talihina, OK on 7-2-33. While young and in the military he was sent to England where he met his wife, Ann. He spent most of his military career traveling between Texas and Alaska, eventually making El Paso his home. While in Alaska he loved to fish, hunt and enjoyed camping with his family. Joe and Ann have been married for 56 years. He is survived by his children Mark Bryan, JoAnne Conway and Barry Bryan and his six grandchildren Zachary and Lindsey Bryan, Sarah and Dylan Bryan and Dakota and Hunter Nicolson. Joe was known for his integrity and instilled good morals within his family. He loved being in the U.S. Army in which he was always proud to serve. He was a special man who was deeply loved and respected by everyone who knew him. Joe was a no-nonsense, kind and generous man, and there were so many others who have crossed paths with him during his lifetime who thought of him as a father figure and surrogate grandad. He will forever live in his family's memories as a good husband, amazing father and grandfather. Visitation will be held for Joe at Martin Central located at 3839 Montana Ave. on Tuesday, October 27th at 5:00 p.m. A small memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m. -
