Heaven has gained a beautiful Angel with the passing of our lovely Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, sister and friend. Jesusita "Chita" Gomez passed away at home at the age of 89 on Wednesday, August 5, 2020. She worked as a secretary at St. Patrick's Cathedral for 20 years and at San Antonio de Padua for 32 years, retiring in 2013. She was a devoted Catholic and a faithful member of San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Pedro Sr. and Beatriz Anaya, brothers Pedro Jr. and Henry Anaya and God-daughter Beatriz DeAnda Tiscareno. Left behind to cherish her memories are her children, Julieta (Ricardo) Rodriguez, Rosa Maria Saenz, Hector (Virginia), Martha, Antonio, Arturo David (Kelly) and Carlos ( Tina) Gomez. Her beloved companion "Misty", 13 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren, her sisters Angela DeAnda, Betty (Robert) Gonzalez and Lupe (Richard) Perez, her brothers Frank (Blanca) Anaya and Raul (Catalina) Anaya. Many nieces and nephews and countless friends.
Services entrusted to Hillcrest Funeral Home with recitation of the Holy Rosary on Tuesday, August 11, 2020. Burial to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
