Jesus Sanchez, known to many as Lazaro, took his rightful place with the Lord on Wednesday, May 1st. He is leaving behind: his daughters Esther and Sarah Sanchez, his grand children Guadalupe Ramirez, and Veronica, Petra, Tirsa and Octavio Burciaga, as well as his twelve great-grand children to carry on his beloved memory. Son of Simon Sanchez and Amalia Monreal, he was born and raised in El Paso; and he lived with his daughter Esther and his grand daughter Guadalupe until his passing, in the house in which he lived for thirty years. A taxi-driver and business owner for over forty years, he had many friends. Always life of the party, Jesus leaves behind the memory of many laughs. He now rests in heaven, poking fun once more at his wife Yrene Gallegos. His memory will live on forever, and all will miss him until we are with him again.
