Jesus "Chuy" Alfonso Carbajal

Jesus “Chuy” Alfonso Carbajal passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by family on June 13th, 2024. He was 70 years old. He leaves behind his wife of 40 years, Sandra, and his children; Nancy, Jesus Jr. (Valerie), Gynna (Sal), Briana and Lori. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren who will miss him dearly, Jesus III, Amanda, John, Nina, Matthew and Sebastian, as well as his great grandson Andres. A devoted animal lover all his life, he leaves behind many fur babies as he now reunites with many more. He will be missed by his surviving siblings Adolfo, Salvador, Ernest and Mary and many nephews, nieces and in-laws.

His career life as a long haul driver and instructor at CET taught him determination and his love of the Dallas Cowboys taught him perseverance, skills that were essential as he undertook his 6 year battle with cancer. His surrender does not negate the lessons of endurance and love he leaves behind.

In lieu of flowers, he requested donations to be sent in his memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

As per his request, there is no formal funeral attire. He requested all attendees wear their favorite sport jersey for his memorial service.

Visitation will be Monday July 1, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a Memorial Service 11 a.m.
