Our beloved Jesus“Archie” Archuleta Jr. has gone to be with the Lord on his favorite patron saints day, “Our Lady of Guadalupe” at the young age of 75. The world will miss the great postal employee, marine and Bowie Bear. Archie’s generosity, kindness, influence and love for his family and grandchildren was immeasurable, in which will be eternally missed. Passionate for his oldies but goodies music, favorite local places to eat, and just cruising around telling his family of past times, made him genuine. A true hero there to lend a helping hand to those in need like his fellow Bowie Bears and fellow veterans by becoming active in several committees and the GI Forum to help others including his family succeed. His legacy and his words of wisdom will never fade away. Preceeded in death by his grandson Robert “Robbie” Hernandez USAF.
Survived by his wife Evangelina, daughters Teresa Archuleta, Delma Hernandez, and son Jerry Archuleta. His brother David Archuleta, sisters Stella Archuleta Amaya, Josie Archuleta Pimentel, Gina Archuleta Ruvalcaba, Carolyn Archuleta, and Gloria Archuleta Romero.
