Jessie Word, 91, from El Paso, Texas passed away September 13, 2022. She is survived by her children; Linda Hernandez (Javier), Aurora Attel (Sam), Alice Almanza, Sonny Duran, Michael Duran, Eddie Word (Alicia), Glen Word (Diane), Michael Word, Susie Word, 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild, sisters; Mary Rosales, Carmen Fonseca, brother; Alfonso Vega. She is preceded in death by her husband Truman G. Word, great grandson; Jacob Rubio, son-in-law; Fidel Almanza, sisters; Delia Vega, Margie Esparza, brother; Joe Vega.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 26, 2022 from 5:00p.m.-8:00p.m. with a rosary at 6:00p.m. at Martin Funeral Home West. Mass will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 9:30a.m. at St. Patrick’s Cathedral Church. Interment to follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
