Jeannie Wilson Taylor

Jeannie was a graduate of Eastwood High School. She spent her entire career working in banking, rising to the position of Executive Vice President/Branch Manager. She married Mike Taylor on June 6, 1981 in El Paso, TX. After receiving much recognition for her banking achievements and mentorship, she retired in 2016 and devoted time to her family, friends, and the greater El Paso community.

Jeannie was the matriarch of her family and held a special place in the hearts of many. She was a woman of great faith, and it was her faith and her journey with the Lord that guided her life. She was a woman of grace and inspiration, who truly brought meaning to the phrase ‘to know her is to love her’. She loved God, her family and her friends fiercely.

She is survived by her loving husband: Mike Taylor, her sister: Judy Ulmer, her husband, Bernard Ulmer, Jeannie’s two sons: Joe Hutson, his wife, Susan Hutson, and their two children: Shaye and Ashley Hutson, as well as Danny Hutson, his wife, Jen Hutson, and their two children: Ethan and Jenna Hutson. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother: Jerry Wilson.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Martin Funeral Home 1460 Geroge Dieter Dr. El Paso Texas 79936. Viewing 9AM to 10:30. The service will start at 10:30 am followed by an escorted funeral procession to Fort Bliss Cemetery at 1 pm.
