" Jane Elizabeth Montgomery (Burns) born in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England November 7th, 1955 to John and Doreen Burns (Fenton) and later raised by John and Diana Burns. Jane passed away unexpectedly in El Paso, Texas on October 4th, 2023.
Jane was a loving mother, grandmother ("Nay nay" and "Nanny"), sister, daughter, and friend. Her vibrant, lively spirit attracted those who knew her, and her good-time energy and quick-witted humor was contagious. Jane was extremely kind-hearted and caring. She married her loving husband Michael Montgomery in 1988.
Throughout her life Jane lived in England, Bahrain, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Texas. She taught and performed country line dancing in Michigan, leading the competitive dance team known as "Diamonds and Spurs". Jane also liked cooking, thrifting, birds, knitting, word games, and most of all spending time with her family.
Jane is survived by her husband Michael Montgomery, mum Diana Burns, sisters Christine, Michelle, and Tracey. Daughters Chrissy (Zach) and Kayley (Matthew), and grandchildren Isla, Conrad, River, Reese, Parker, Summer, and expecting grandbaby seven, as well as her nieces and nephew Angie, Kerry, and Lee.
Memorial service for Jane will be Monday, October 9th from 5pm-9pm (Mountain time zone) at Martin Funeral Home at 128 N. Resler Dr. There will be a livestream via Facebook Live on the Martin Funeral Home West Facebook page ( https://www.facebook.com/MartinFuneralHomeWest?mibextid=ZbWKwL) for those who cannot attend in-person.
