James V. Shaw

Jay was a proud Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the 50th Triple AAA AW BN. He hosted three reunions in El Paso. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Jay is predeceased by his parents, Albert Finley Shaw and Anna Bell Ross Shaw, his brothers Albert Shaw, Jr. and Charles W. Shaw, his sisters Lou Lundy and Gladys Reynolds.

Jay is survived by his wife of 51 years, Augo (Tina) Shaw, his sons, Steven Shaw and Edward Shaw (Claudia) and grandchildren Adam and Alyssa.

Public visitation will be Monday, June 10, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Martin East. Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of El Paso. We thank our family and friends who have been with us through this difficult time.
