Our LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST welcomed James home on Friday, December 03, 2021 at 10:30am. His wife, son, and brother were present at home with him at the time of his passing. (2 Cor 5:8)
James was a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas, but was born in Killeen, Texas. James is preceded in death by Father William A. McCormack, Mother Mary Stella McCormack, Brother William A. McCormack, and Sister Martha Sue Insall.
James is survived by wife of 28 years, Arlene Edith McCormack, and son James Isaiah McCormack, brother John Robert McCormack, and Sister Charlene Walker.
James was a Mail Carrier for the United States Postal Service for 18 years and prior to that was employed for 16 years at Raytheon Service Company. He was a Veteran and served in the Army, and a graduate from Irvin High School.
James was Ordained as a Deacon on 04/05/1998 and served as Deacon for 10 years at Valley View Baptist Church. He also taught Bible Study to the Youth Group in the mid-late 90’s.
James was a man of great faith and was a faithful servant. He was an amazingly beautiful soul while living here on earth. He touched and blessed many lives up until his last breath. He fought hard regardless of all his illnesses. He was an answered prayer to his wife, in which she will forever be thankful to GOD for bringing them together as one, and GOD being the foundation of their marriage. He was a remarkable loving and nurturing Father who loved his son immensely, and an excellent example to our son on the importance of being grounded and knowing and loving GOD.
He will be missed tremendously, but we have the peace and faith of knowing that we will see him again.
