Irene W. Futrell, widow of the late Keith C. Futrell, went to be with her Lord Monday, November 22, 2010. She was the Matriarch of Funeral Service in El Paso, TX for 58 years. She and her family owned and operated Kaster-Maxon & Futrell Funeral Home for over 50 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church for 79 years, and was involved in the community with various civic organizations over the years including the wives group with the Scottish Rite, Daughters of the Nile and El Maida Shrine widows group. She is survived by her son, Ronald C. Futrell of El Paso, TX; her grandson, Nicholas C. and granddaughter-in-law, Melinda R. Futrell and her great-granddaughter, London Elizabeth Futrell of Lubbock, TX; her granddaughter, Jerelen C. and grandson-in-law, Jarrod Briggle of Tyler, TX. She will be loved, cherished and remembered by the legacy of loving and caring for everyone she met and continued by her family. Visitation will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 26th with a Funeral Service at 12 Noon at First Baptist Church Ford Chapel with Dr. Levi Price, Jr. and Dr. David Lowrie, Jr. officiating. Memorial Contributions will be gratefully appreciated if given to The First Baptist Church or La Mariposa Hospice.
