Ignacio Gabriel Govea, 86, of El Paso, Texas passed away on July 29, 2023. He is survived by his loving wife Celina Govea, his children; Mary Ann Gonzales, Daniel Govea, Samuel Govea, Laura Cristina Govea, 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, extended family and friends who will cherish his memory. Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 8, 2023 with 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with the rosary to begin at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 N. Carolina. A Funeral Mass will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 8011 Williamette Ave followed by the interment at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. where he will be laid to rest with Military Honors.
