Hilda Morales, 56, departed peacefully from this earth on March 7th. She resided in El Paso most of her life, graduating from El Paso High in 1974. She received a certificate of completion from Long Beach College of Business for Secretarial Science in 1977. She returned to El Paso and last worked for the Department of Defense as a Contract Representative for our wounded warriors. Family was most important to Hilda and she took every opportunity to make certain they knew how much she loved them. It was amazing how she made everyone feel special and welcomed. The apples of her eye were her grandchildren Evangelina, Pedro, Renee, Athena and Orion. "Nana" loved her children Lorraine Espinoza husband Joseph; SSGT Leesa Smith USAF husband MSGT Dallas USA ; Blanca Hernandez; Manuel Hernandez Jr. wife Valerie. Hilda was preceded in death by her mother Blasa Cardenas Morales and survived by the greatest father of all time, Miguel Morales of Canutillo, Tx. Family would like to thank the angels of the ICU staff, fourth floor oncology unit nurses and staff and the many doctors at Sierra Medical Center who provided care for our mother, daughter, sister, beloved friend. In her typical
selfless way, she left a message for all who knew and especially for those who loved her. It read..."find comfort knowing that I have lived a full life...This body I live in is not me, it is a gift from God that I have used to the fullest....I have been blessed with a loving family... I am grateful for each day and look forward to the next." Visitation will be held on Sunday March 10, 2013 from 5 pm to 9pm at Martin Funeral Home-Central With a vigil at 7pm.
