Herminia G. Trevino

Herminia (Minnie) Godines Trevino, 98, passed away July 28, 2018 in El Paso, Texas. She was born in Alice, Texas to her parents, Jose Godines and Concepcion Barrios Godines. In that small town in South Texas is also where she met the love of her life, Reymundo Trevino.. A devoted wife and a loving mother to four children she thus began to build the legacy cherished by those she loved and whose lives she touched. Being an avid gardener and a master seamstress were only two of her many talents for creating beauty in her life with those she loved. A gentle soul, generous and compassionate, her joy of life remains an inspiration. Final resting place to be in Alice, Texas alongside her beloved husband.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Mama Concha and Papa Jesus, five brothers, one sister, her husband, Reymundo Trevino, and her son, Juan Trevino. Our mother and grandmother is survived by her daughters Esperanza Stimets and Anna Herrera; from her household, daughter Gloria Trevino and grandson Carlos Rios; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
