Herlinda Hernandez

Herlinda Hernandez, 62, our beloved daughter and sister passed away on November 16, 2014 in El Paso, Texas. She will be greatly missed by those she left behind, her mother: Juanita "Nena"; brother: Adrian and his life partner Gregory L. Clemons; niece: Erica Ambis; and step-brothers: Art Ambis and Tony Ambis. Herlinda is preceded by death by her father: Ramon "Tano" Hernandez; Stepfather: Mario Ambis Sr.; brother: Mario Ambis Jr.; sister: Delilah Ambis; maternal grandparents: Damacio M. Garcia and Antonia Delgado; and paternal grandparents: Tomas and Ysabel Hernandez. Throughout her life she was very optimistic through all the adversity, she always looked on the bright side and helped others. Herlinda previously worked as a personnel director at Good Will Inc. We would like to extend a special thanks to Trini Rodriguez for her selfless dedicated help in caring for Herlinda for over 17 years. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 pm on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 21, 2014 at San Jose Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
