Hector E. Hinojos Jr.

HECTOR E. HINOJOS JR. (1953-2017) Hector Eduardo, 63, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017. He was a lifelong resident of El Paso, TX and a member of Our Lady of the Light Catholic Church. Hector was a proud U.S. Navy veteran and an avid sports fan, enjoying drag racing and watching his Yankees and Raiders play. The love and admiration for his Mom, family and friends was priceless. Hector was preceded in death by his father, Hector Hinojos Sr. and his twin brother, Raul S. Hinojos. He is survived by his loving mother, Socorro S. Hinojos and son, Justin Hinojos. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly. Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be his cousins and lifelong best friends: Ruben Rivera, Ben Rivera, Carlos Rivera, Johnny Herrera, Ray Portillo, Frank Medrano, Raul Avalos and George Avalos. Thanks and gratitude to all the doctors and nurses at the ICU units of Sierra Medical and Kindred Hospitals for their compassion and kindness in caring for our dear Hector. The bond between twins is undeniable. Hector is with Ruly boy now and at last, peace is with them. "Your memory is a keepsake, from which I'll never part. God has you in His arms, I have you in my heart." Visitation will be held, Sunday, January 8, 2017 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Martin Funeral Home Central with a 7:00pm vigil. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, January 9, 2017 at 1:15pm at Our Lady of The Light Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
